Florida based Diamondback Firearms introduced a brand new AR-15, the DB1065CB, chambered in the exceedingly popular 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge.
The 9 pound AR-15 offers an overall length between 38.5-inches and 42-inches depending on the state of the stock. The DB 6.5 Creedmoor boasts a 20-inch stainless steel fluted barrel matched with a 15-inch Victor M-LOK rail and Double Side Port Muzzle Break.
Diamondback Firearms partnered with The Mako Group in order to bring the FAB Defense GL-Shock Recoil-Reducing Stock and the AGR-43 rubber overmolded pistol grip to the AR platform. The GL-Shock utilizes a patented “anti-rattle” mechanism free from protrusions so there’s no snagging while shooting. The AGR-43 pistol grip touts multi-textured rubber features offering a more secure grip. In addition, the pistol grip gives shooters a better shooting angle and heightened control as well as less wrist fatigue and a hinged floorplate for battery storage.
The DB 6.5 Creedmoor will ship with two magazines, a 5-round and 20-round, and will be offered in two colors — black, priced at $1,229, and flat dark earth, priced at $1,259.
