Now Playing President Obama and Islam
Newly unearthed photos of President Obama in Muslim
garb underscore his deep ties to the faith -- and possibly help explain
his reluctance to call out radical Islam, Fox News Channel’s Bill
O’Reilly said Wednesday.

The photos, aired on “The O’Reilly Factor,” were
taken at the wedding of Obama’s half-brother, Malik Obama, in Maryland
sometime in the early 1990s, O’Reilly said. They were not offered as
evidence that Obama is Muslim, as some of his critics insist, but to
show his “deep emotional ties” to the religion of his father and
stepfather, O’Reilly said.

O'Reilly said the photos, taken in the 1990s, underscore Obama's deep ties to Islam.

“There is no question the Obama administration's
greatest failure is allowing the Islamic terror group ISIS to run wild,
murdering thousands of innocent people all over the world, including
many Muslims,” said O'Reilly. “Mr. Obama has never, never acknowledged
that mistake, nor does he define the ISIS threat accurately.
“That group is killing innocent people in order to
impose a radical version of Islam on the world,” the newsman added. “The
jihad is solely based on theology, perverted as it may be.”
A similar photo emerged in 2008,
when Obama was running for the Democratic presidential nomination
against Hillary Clinton. In that photo, Obama was seen wearing a white
turban and Muslim dress. The photo was sent to the influential Drudge
Report, and Obama’s campaign blamed Clinton for the “smear.”

"On the very day that Senator Clinton is giving a
speech about restoring respect for America in the world, her campaign
has engaged in the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we've seen
from either party in this election," then-Obama campaign manager David
Plouffe said.
The president reportedly met his older half-brother
for the first time in 1985. Malik Obama now lives in a rural Kenyan
village near Lake Victoria.
DEVELOPING: Dallas
Police were in a standoff early Friday with a suspected sniper who,
along with at least one other shooter, targeted law enforcement officers
during a protest march, killing five and injuring several other
officers as well as one civilian. More suspects may be at large.
Dallas
Police Chief David Brown said the suspect holed up in a downtown
parking garage had exchanged gunfire with officers for 45 minutes and
claimed "the end is coming", as well as saying that he had planted bombs
across Dallas and wanted to hurt more officers.
....
Brown
said "our assumption" is that the four suspects were "working together
with rifles, triangulating at different positions." He had no
information on a possible motive or the identities of any of the
suspects. He also noted that police were not completely certain that
every suspect was in custody.
ORIGINAL POST, 1:45 AM Central, July 8: Two
sniper suspects are in custody after a deadly sniper attack on Dallas
area police during a Black Lives Matter protest on Thursday, July 7,
2016. At this time four officers are confirmed dead, and seven other
officer are wounded, with several undergoing surgery. NBC News 5, DFW,
reports:
Four
[Now Five] officers are dead - three Dallas police officers and one
DART transit officer - after two snipers ambushed and opened fire on
police at the end of a peaceful protest against nationwide
officer-involved shootings Thursday night, officials say.
Eleven
officers were shot by gunmen who were still at large hours after what
was believed to be a coordinated shooting, according to Dallas Police
Chief David Brown.
"We
believe that these suspects were positioning themselves to triangulate
on our officers and planned to injure and kill as many law enforcement
officers as they could," Brown said.
The Dallas Police Department's twitter page
posted a photo of one of the suspects (see above) shortly before he was
apprehended, stating "this is one of our suspects. Please help us find
him." That Dallas PD twitter page also contains short video clips of
the Black Lives Matter protesters shouting "no justice, no peace!" and
"enough is enough" shortly before the sniper fire erupted.
Texas Governor Greg Abbot posted this statement on his Twitter page:
We
will post updates as more information comes in, but this is clearly one
of the most deadly attacks on police in this nation's history. Please
pray for the officers and their families.
NOTE FROM STEWART RHODES.
Sadly, this sniper attack does not come as a surprise after the
incessant cop killer inspiring rhetoric of Black Lives Matter and
similar radical leftist groups, inciting violence against all police
officers while alleging that any and all shootings of black or Hispanic
suspects in this nation just must be driven by racism, with
condemnation and cries of "racist!" coming before any investigation has a
chance to even start. And it also does not come as a surprise given
the incessant Marxist mantra that America is a "racist nation" and that
police serve as the weapons of that racist nation against all "people of
color" - all of which serves the Marxist agenda to divide and conquer
along racial lines and inspire blind hatred against all police, and
against this nation in general (which is clearly successful, judging
from the many photos and videos of Black Lives Matter activists standing
on the American flag, burning the flag, and even wiping their rear ends
with the flag, with many favorable comments and thumbs up given in
support online).
And
this attack shows the extreme vulnerability of police officers to
sniper fire during such events. From here forward, officers would be
well advised to treat all such public protests as magnets for snipers
and terrorists, and take appropriate countermeasures, such as active
patrolling and/or police occupation of any elevated location that may
serve as a possible sniper position.
And
this will cause police to want to further militarize, in their own
defense, to include deployment of counter-sniper and armored vehicles.
No doubt, that is what the Marxists want as well, so they can further
justify their cop hating rhetoric and incitement to violence. And it
will also further their agenda to trample on the right of the people to
bear arms. The blame will not fall on their rhetoric and incitement,
but will instead fall on gun ownership in general. The Marxists' only
proposed "solution" will be to disarm the rest of us, and to insist on
the nationalization of all police, bringing them under the heel of the
DOJ. In other words, they will blame the victims of this attack, and
innocent American gun owners, since they see both as their enemies.
Therefore,
I call on all Oath Keepers, and all patriotic Americans, to come to the
aid of their local police, and to the aid of their communities, and
unite and coordinate in mutual defense against this orchestrated
campaign of Marxist terrorism, which is the modern version of the wave
of terrorism we saw in the late 60s and early 70s by the Marxist Weather
Underground and related groups (who also frequently targeted police).
What is now needed, more than ever, is the reestablishment of the
militia of the people, trained, equipped and organized in each town, to
defend against what is now clearly a "Tet Offensive" American style, as
Navy SEAL veteran Matt Bracken warned.
While we work to
reestablish that militia system, you must go armed at all times, and be
prepared, at all times, to defend your community against these Marxist
terrorists as well as their Islamist terror allies. Remember, they are
in league, and you are their common enemy and their common targets.
Is
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch coordinating with Black Lives
Matter activists to disrupt the upcoming Republican and Democratic
National Conventions so that martial law will be declared and the
elections suspended/indefinitely postponed? This allegation is the
subject of hundreds of articles regarding a series of purported direct
messages between three leading Black Lives Matter activists.
What we do know
On
Friday, June 10, 2016, Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader and former
Baltimore Mayoral Candidate DeRay McKesson claimed that someone hacked
into his phone and took control of his twitter account. DeRay McKesson
reported the hack to The Baltimore Sun. On June 11, 2016, a twitter user who calls himself The Saint (@TheSaintNegro)
tweeted what he claims are private direct-message conversations that
occurred on June 10 between DeRay McKesson and Johnetta Elzie, in which
the two discussed coordination of plans to cause the declaration of
martial law through disruptive protests and direct action at the
upcoming Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio, and the
Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia, PA.
JOHNETTA
ELZIE: "Have you spoken with Mrs. Lynch [Attorney General Loretta
Lynch] recently about the plan for the summer and fall leading up to
the elections."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "We spoke two weeks and they want us to start really pushing
how racist Trump is now instead of waiting so the others can start
getting the protesters ready to shut both conventions down."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "If we can get both conventions shut down for messing over
Bernie and for having racist Trump, then get martial law declared so
Obama can stay in office we will win. Call you soon when I get to my
dads so I can use his landline and we can talk more on this."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "We have to make sure that we use our voices to keep people
disrupting Trump all summer and through the fall so martial law can be
declared...."
SAMUEL
SINYANGWE: "I wanted to touch base with you about the summer of chaos.
So far we have over 2,000 people bused in from different cities and
another 6,000 to 8,000 expected to drive into Cleveland for the
Convention."
SAMUEL
SINYANGWE: "They will not be ready for the crowds we are bringing and
they will blame Trump for it, especially if we shut it down. The GOP
will have to replace him at that point or we will continue the
disruptions nationwide."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "I will pass the info along. Good work, Sam. You never let
us down. It's so important we stop Trump. He can not be president. He
will destroy everything we worked so hard for and we can't trust...."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "...today and he [Sam?] confirmed that there will be around
10,000 protesters disrupting the [Republican] convention. Plans are
being made for other cities as well for upcoming Trump events. Ads have
already been placed looking for people to help. I know you don't care
for them [white people] but this is the time we need our white allies
doing a lot of the work for us. They are the ones who listen the best."
JOHNETTA
ELZIE: "That will put fear into the GOP and the country when they
can't have their convention for all their racist supporting Trump.
We've worked too hard and closely with the Obama administration to have
that racist ass take it all away and Hillary.... You know I can't stand
those white allies, but yo right this is the best to use them. They
hang on every word you say and will do whatever is asked. I just hate
all that kiss ass they try to do. Like that changes who they are."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "We have a lot of white allies volunteering for Trump's
campaign to pass along information to us before it's made public so we
know when rallies are coming up before they are announced. That way we
can plan major disruptions in those cities in advance. We just have to
keep our names out of this and let these [white] people do the work for
us by pushing how Trump's racist ways will destroy...."
JOHNETTA
ELZIE: "That's all those white people are good for in my eyes. I
couldn't imagine even pretending to like that racist ass Trump even to
get info on his events. I'll be glad when we shut his ass down."
DERAY
MCKESSON: "With the support we have from Mrs. Lynch and the help we've
got from Sam and others it won't be hard to cause enough...."
Other related events
At the Aspen Ideas Festival, DeRay McKesson discussed plans for protests during the DNC and RNC, as reported by USA Today. He also discussed reservations regarding Hillary Clinton and his total distain for Donald Trump, whom he called "evil."
It is interesting to note that Attorney General Loretta Lynch and DeRay McKesson
were both speakers at the 2016 Aspen Ideas Festival. There are
speculative reports of the two meeting during this event. What is known
is that DeRay has been in attendance at meetings with the Attorney General over the past year.
I
have asked technicians that are experts in Photoshop to review the
purported messages. These technicians reported that the images are
either legitimate or done by someone with significant skills. They tell
me that to replicate the images would take hundreds of hours. They also
reported that the images are exactly 576×1024 pixels at 24 bit depth
96dpi with no detectable fragments or overlays. They reported that the
images are what would be expected from an HTC One phone. They also
reported that in order to replicate the images as presented with various
scroll positions would be extremely difficult. This information,
coupled with the known facts above lead me to the following conclusions:
The Black Lives Matter leadership and membership would prefer that Barack Obama remain in office.
Significant
protests are being orchestrated by the Black Lives Matter leadership
for both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions.
Most
likely the images are real. Their existence could either be factual as
reported above or part of an elaborate hoax to generate support for
protests concocted by the Black Lives Matter leadership.
Whether the images are real or not, there are no facts that confirm the participation of the Attorney General.
If the reported discussions and support of the Attorney General are factual, we will find out soon enough.

NEW YORK – FBI Director James Comey has a long history of involvement
in Department of Justice actions that arguably ended up favorable to
the Clintons.
In 2004, Comey, then serving as a deputy attorney general in the
Justice Department, apparently limited the scope of the criminal
investigation of Sandy Berger, which left out former Clinton
administration officials who may have coordinated with Berger in his
removal and destruction of classified records from the National
Archives. The documents were relevant to accusations that the Clinton
administration was negligent in the build-up to the 9/11 terrorist
attack.
On Tuesday, Comey announced that despite evidence of “extreme
negligence by Hillary Clinton and her top aides regarding the handling
of classified information through a private email server, the FBI would
not refer criminal charges to Attorney General Loretta Lynch and the
Justice Department.
Curiously, Berger, Lynch and Cheryl Mills all worked as partners in
the Washington law firm Hogan & Hartson, which prepared tax returns
for the Clintons and did patent work for a software firm that played a
role in the private email server Hillary Clinton used when she was
secretary of state. With
Hillary making another run for president, don’t get caught up in the
lies and spin! In “Hillary Unhinged: In Her Own Words,” find out who the
true Hillary is with this raw and humorous collection of quotes that
pitilessly underscores her hypocrisy
Lynch and Comey both served as U.S. attorney for the Southern
District of New York. They crossed paths in the investigation of HSBC
bank, which avoided criminal charges in a massive money-laundering
scandal for which the bank paid a $1.9 billion fine.
After Attorney General John Aschroft recused himself in the Valerie
Plame affair in 2004, Comey appointed as special counsel Patrick J.
Fitzgerald, who ended up convicting “Scooter” Libby, a top aide to then
Vice President Dick Cheney, of perjury and obstruction of justice. The
charge affirmed the accusations of Plame and her former ambassador
husband, Joe Wilson – both partisan supporters of Bill and Hillary
Clinton – that Libby outed her as a CIA agent. New York Times reporter Judith Miller’s 2015 memoir strongly suggests Fitzgerald improperly manipulated testimony and withheld crucial evidence in obtaining a conviction against Libby in his 2007 trial. Prosecutor in Berger case
As deputy attorney general, Comey was involved in the investigation of Berger, as Fox News reported in 2004
Berger at that time was under criminal investigation by the Justice
Department for removing from the National Archives various classified
documents that should have been turned over to the independent
commission investigating the 9/11 terror attacks and for removing
handwritten notes he made while reviewing the documents.
The New York Times reported in 2005 that Republican leaders
speculated Berger removed the documents from the National Archives
because he was trying to conceal material that could be damaging to the
Clinton administration.
There is no evidence Comey’s investigation for the Justice Department
made any attempt to determine if anyone affiliated with the Clinton
White House prompted Berger or coordinated with him in the decision to
remove the classified documents.
Sandy Berger
Various statements Comey made about Berger’s mishandling of
classified documents bear comparison to his comments regarding Hillary
Clinton’s email server.
In 2004, Fox News noted Comey told reporters he could not comment on
the Berger investigation but did address the general issue of
mishandling classified documents.
“As a general matter, we take issues of classified information very seriously,” Comey said in response to a reporter’s question.
He added that the department had prosecuted and sought administrative
sanctions against people for mishandling classified information.
“It’s our lifeblood, those secrets,” Comey continued. “It’s against
the law for anyone to intentionally mishandle classified documents
either by taking it to give to somebody else or by mishandling it in a
way that is outside the government regulations.”
On April 1, 2005, Berger pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of
intentionally removing documents from the National Archives and
destroying some of them. He was fined $50,000, sentenced to 100 hours of
community service and two years probation. Also, his national security
license was stripped for two years. Messages found stored on Clinton’s private email server show
that Berger – a convicted thief of classified documents – had been
advising Clinton while she served as secretary of state and had access
to emails containing classified information.
For example, in an email dated Sept. 22, 2009,
Berger advised Clinton advised how she could leverage information to
make Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu more cooperative in
discussions with the Obama administration over a settlement freeze. When Carter lost his re-election bid, Berger returned to Hogan &
Hartson, where he worked until he took leave in 1988 to act as foreign
policy adviser in Gov. Michael Dukakis’ presidential campaign.
When Dukakis was defeated, Berger returned to Hogan & Hartson
until he became foreign policy adviser for Bill Clinton’s presidential
campaign in 1992.
On March 28, WND reported Lynch was a litigation partner for eight years at Hogan & Hartson, from March 2002 through April 2010.
Mills also worked at Hogan & Hartson, for two years, starting in 1990,
before she joined then President-elect Bill Clinton’s transition team,
on her way to securing a position as White House deputy counsel in the
Clinton administration.
According to documents Hillary Clinton’s first presidential campaign
made public in 2008, Hogan & Hartson’s New York-based partner Howard
Topaz was the tax lawyer who filed income tax returns for Bill and
Hillary Clinton beginning in 2004.
In addition, Hogan & Hartson in Virginia filed a patent trademark
request on May 19, 2004, for Denver-based MX Logic Inc., the computer
software firm that developed the email encryption system used to manage
Clinton’s private email server beginning in July 2013. A tech expert has
observed that employees of MX Logic could have had access to all the
emails that went through her account.
In 1999, President Bill Clinton nominated Lynch for the first of her
two terms as U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, a
position she held until she joined Hogan & Hartson in March 2002 to
become a partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
She left Hogan & Hartson in 2010, after being nominated by
President Obama for her second term as U.S. attorney for the Eastern
District of New York, a position she held until Obama nominated her to
serve in her current position as attorney general. A report published April 8, 2008, by The American Lawyer noted
Hogan & Hartson was among Hillary Clinton’s biggest financial
supporters in the legal industry during her first presidential campaign.
“Firm lawyers and staff have donated nearly $123,400 to her campaign
so far, according to campaign contribution data from the Center for
Responsive Politics,” Nate Raymond observed in The American Lawyer
article. “Christine Varney, a partner in Hogan’s Washington, D.C.,
office, served as chief counsel to the Clinton-Gore Campaign in 1992.”
While there is no evidence that Lynch played a direct role either in
the tax work done by the firm for the Clintons or in linking Hillary’s
private email server to MX Logic, the ethics of the legal profession hold all partners jointly liable for the actions of other partners in a business.
“If Hogan and Hartson previously represented the Clintons on tax
matters, it is incumbent upon U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch to
[disclose] what, if any, role she had in such tax matters,” said Tom
Fitton, president of Washington-based Judicial Watch. HSBC link
When Lynch’s nomination as attorney general was considered by the Senate one year ago, as WND reported,
the Senate Judiciary Committee examined her role in the Obama
administration’s decision not to prosecute the banking giant HSBC for
laundering funds for Mexican drug cartels and Middle Eastern terrorists. WND was first to report in a series of articles beginning in 2012
money-laundering charges brought by John Cruz, a former HSBC vice
president and relationship manager, based on his more than 1,000 pages
of evidence and secret audio recordings.
The staff of the Senate Judiciary Committee focused on Cruz’s
allegations that Lynch, acting then in her capacity as the U.S. attorney
for the Eastern District of New York, engaged in a Department of
Justice cover-up. Obama’s attorney general nominee allowed HSBC in December 2011 to enter into a “deferred prosecution” settlement
in which the bank agreed to pay a $1.9 billion fine and admit “willful
criminal conduct” in exchange for dropping criminal investigations and
prosecutions of HSBC directors or employees. Cruz called the $1.92 billion fine the U.S. government imposed on HSBC “a joke” and filed a $10 million lawsuit for “retaliation and wrongful termination.”
From 2002 to 2003, Comey held the position of U.S. Attorney for the
Southern District of New York, the same position held by Lynch.
On March 4, 2013, he joined the HSBC board of directors,
agreeing to serve as an independent non-executive director and a member
of the bank’s Financial System Vulnerabilities Committee, positions he
held until he resigned on Aug. 3, 2013, to become head of the FBI. Comey, Fitzgerald and Valerie Plame
On Jan. 1, 2004, the Washington Post reported that after Attorney
General John Aschroft recused himself and his staff from any involvement
in the investigation of who leaked the name of CIA employee Valerie
Plame after journalist Robert Novak named her in print as a CIA
operative, Comey assumed the role of acting attorney general for the
purposes of the investigation.
Comey appointed Patrick J. Fitzgerald, a U.S. attorney in Chicago, to
act as special counsel in conducting the inquiry into what became known
as “Plamegate.”
At the time Comey made the appointment, Fitzgerald was already godfather to one of Comey’s children.
On April 13, 2015, co-authoring a USA Today op-ed piece, Plame and her husband, retired ambassador Joseph Wilson, made public their support for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, openly acknowledging their political closeness to both Hillary and Bill Clinton.
The first two paragraphs of the editorial read:
We have known Hillary Clinton both professionally and
personally for close to 20 years, dating back to before President Bill
Clinton’s first trip to Africa in 1998 — a trip that they both
acknowledge changed their lives, and gave considerable meaning to their
post-White House years and to the activities of the Clinton Foundation.
Joe, serving as the National Security Council Senior Director for
African Affairs, was instrumental in arranging that historic visit.
Our history became entwined with Hillary further after Valerie’s
identity as a CIA officer was deliberately exposed. That criminal act
was taken in retribution for Joe’s article in The New York Times in
which he explained he had discovered no basis for the Bush
administration’s justification for the Iraq War that Saddam Hussein was
seeking yellowcake uranium to develop a nuclear weapon.
In January 2016, Chuck Ross in the Daily Caller reported
that Hillary Clinton emails made public made clear that one of her
“most frequent favor-seekers when she was secretary of state was former
Ambassador Joseph Wilson, a longtime Clinton friend, an endorser of
Clinton’s 2008 presidential campaign, and an Africa expert with deep
business ties on the continent.”
Ross noted that Wilson emailed Clinton on Dec. 22, 2009, seeking help
for Symbion Power, an American engineering contractor for whom Wilson
consulted, in the company’s bid to pursue a U.S. Agency of International
Development contract for work in Afghanistan.
In the case of the Afghanistan project, Ross noted, Clinton vouched
for Wilson and Symbion as she forwarded the request to Jack Lew, who
served then as deputy secretary of state for management and resources.
Ross further reported Wilson’s request might also have been discussed with President Obama, as one email indicates.
In 2005, Fitzgerald prosecuted Libby, a prominent adviser to then
Vice President Dick Cheney, in the Plame investigation, charging him
with two counts of perjury, two counts of making false statements to
federal prosecutors and one count of obstruction of justice.
On March 6, 2007, Libby was convicted of four of the five counts, and on June 5, 2007, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton to two and a half years in federal prison.
On April 6, 2015, the Wall Street Journal reported
the publication of New York Times reporter Judith Miller’s memoir “The
Story: A Reporter’s Journey” exposed “unscrupulous conduct” by
Fitzgerald in the 2007 trial of Libby.
WSJ reporter Peter Berkowitz noted Miller “writes that Mr. Fitzgerald
induced her to give what she now realizes was false testimony.”
“By withholding critical information and manipulating her memory as
he prepared her to testify, Ms. Miller relates, Mr. Fitzgerald ‘steered’
her ‘in the wrong direction.’”
Greg
Abbott, the 48th Governor of Texas, continues building on his record of
strong, conservative leadership. Previously the longest-serving
Attorney General in Texas history and a Justice on the Texas Supreme
Court, Governor Abbott has long defended the constitutional principles
on which this state and our nation were founded.
Governor Abbott’s vision for an even stronger Texas of tomorrow is
focused on creating more jobs and economic opportunity, elevating our
schools and education system, building the transportation infrastructure
needed to keep the economy growing and securing the Texas border in the
face of federal inaction.
Understanding it is Washington that is broken, not America, and that
Texas must lead the way for our nation, Governor Abbott continues to
fight to preserve our shared values—like faith, family and freedom—for
future generations.
Following
the successful 2015 Legislative Session, which saw many of his
Bicentennial Blueprint priorities earn strong bipartisan support,
Governor Abbott signed into law the largest tax cut in Texas in nearly a
decade, including an increase in the homestead exemption and a
permanent 25% cut in the business franchise tax.
His Governor’s University Research Initiative will help Texas
universities attract the best and brightest minds. With voter approval
in November, billions of dollars will be added for Texas roads—without
raising fees, tolls, taxes or debt. And with his signing into law the
toughest border security measures of any state in the nation, Governor
Abbott is sending a clear message to criminal transnational cartels:
Don’t Mess With Texas.
A staunch defender of our liberties and 2nd Amendment rights,
Governor Abbott made protecting Texas communities his top priority
during his tenure as the 50th Texas Attorney General.
As Attorney General, Greg Abbott established a Cyber Crimes Unit to
arrest criminals who use the Internet to prey upon children; a Fugitive
Unit to arrest convicted sex offenders who violate their parole; and an
expanded Medicaid Fraud Control Unit to crack down on elder abuse and
waste of taxpayer dollars. He collected more than $31 billion in child
support for Texas children, and in 2014, his office was recognized as
the nation’s best child support program by the National Child Support
Enforcement Association.
Abbott previously served as a Justice on the Texas Supreme Court and as a State District Judge in Harris County.
A native Texan, Governor Abbott was born in Wichita Falls and raised
in Duncanville. After graduating from The University of Texas with a
B.B.A. in Finance, he received his law degree from Vanderbilt
University. Shortly after graduating from law school, he was partially
paralyzed by a falling tree while jogging.
Governor Abbott is an avid sportsman and hunter. He and his wife,
Cecilia, have been married for 34 years. She is a former school teacher
and principal, and the first Hispanic First Lady of Texas. They live in
Austin. Their daughter, Audrey, attends college
