Breaking news: Obama’s illegal executive amnesty remains blocked by a Supreme Court tie! Bypassing Congress was an unauthorized abuse of presidential power that trampled the Constitution.
 

Once again, Texas has led the fight for the Constitution, and, once again, Texas has defeated this lawless president.

President Obama issued an executive action granting amnesty to millions.  When we challenged President Obama's executive amnesty in court—my final lawsuit as your Attorney General, 25 other states joined our fight, and the president's plans were halted in court.

We’ve won for now. But we’re one election—and one bad Supreme Court appointee—from seeing the Constitution turned on its head.

Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling was a 4 – 4 tie. A liberal appointee from Hillary Clinton could completely tip the scales towards lawlessness in America. 

And she’s coming after Texas.

Just days ago, Hillary Clinton told reporters that she’s focused on winning Texas this November.
 
Doug, we simply cannot let that happen. We MUST hold the line. A Hillary Clinton win in Texas guarantees a Hillary Clinton presidency.

President Obama himself admitted that he is not a king who can unilaterally change and write immigration laws. Yesterday’s ruling is a victory for the Rule of Law, the Constitution, and all law-abiding Americans—including the millions of immigrants who came to America following the Rule of Law.

But we must remain ever-vigilant to preserve the very foundation our country was built upon.
  
This fight is not over. Obama’s administration desperately fought our lawsuit every step of the way.  And every time, we won, dealing him what some have suggested the “biggest legal loss of his presidency.” But you can be sure that Hillary Clinton would take up the president’s mantle of lawlessness.
 
Help us keep Texas red up and down the ballot. We need to keep Texas leading—protecting the Constitution. The saying “As Texas goes, so goes the nation” is an apt reminder this year, especially with yesterday’s ruling. You can continue to be the difference in helping Texas leading the nation.
 
We must protect this historic ruling. While Obama’s reign is almost over, it’s clear that Hillary will be even worse if she is elected President.
